What Makes this Opportunity Unique?
The Health and Wellbeing Advisory Board includes USG- GPSG- and Post Doc Association-appointed and selected at-large members. A formal application and selection process takes place each Spring Semester for the subsequent academic year’s Advisory Board. The 2026-27 Advisory Board is full. Students may email Ken Pittman, Executive Director, Health and Wellbeing at pittmank@email.unc.edu to be placed on an interest list for the 2027-28 Advisory Board. An application will be provided to interested students during Spring Semester 2027 following Spring Break.
The best student and post-doc matches are those with a keen interest in healthcare, services to students, mental health, health insurance and health equity. Quite often students with academic and career interests in the health sciences find particular value in Advisory Board participation.
