APPLES Alternative Spring Breaks

APPLES Alternative Breaks let UNC students spend their university breaks (usually spring break) doing meaningful service in communities across North Carolina.

What Makes this Opportunity Unique?

Led by student organizers, each group focuses on a specific issue, learns about the destination community, and works on impactful projects. Along the way, participants form new friendships, explore new places, and reflect on their experiences. It’s a unique way to connect service with learning while stepping out of your campus bubble and making a difference. A fee is required to participate.
